David F. Zucker
Managing Partner

Zucker is Managing Partner of private investment firm Lead Lap Enterprises, LLC.  He has over thirty years of experience as a Chairman/CEO/General Manager of public and private companies and company divisions in the media, business services, marketing services, consumer, healthcare and technology businesses. He has overseen and completed more than twenty business acquisitions of varying sizes during his career.

Zucker’s operating roles include and have included:

  • Chairman of $5.5 billion, nine hospital healthcare system NorthShore-Edward Elmhurst Health

  • Chairman and CEO of NASCAR holding company Petty Holdings LLC
  • President & CEO of video game company Midway Games, Inc.
  • President & CEO of technology/business services company DIVA Systems, Inc.
  • Executive Vice President and Managing Director at sports media company ESPN, Inc, subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company

Zucker spent eleven years at the Walt Disney Company where he was President of Fairchild’s Travel Agent BtoB media business, Vice President of Programming for ESPN, and later Executive Vice President of ESPN and Managing Director of ESPN International, overseeing its growth to $750 Million in consolidated annual revenue and 21 networks in 20 languages around the world.

After graduating magna cum laude from Princeton University, Zucker worked as a financial analyst in the M&A group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, and later received his MBA from Harvard University.  Zucker is the Chairman of the Corporate Board of Directors of NorthShore-Edward Elmhurst Health ($5 Billion, nine hospital integrated healthcare delivery system serving Chicagoland), and a Trustee of the Utah School & Institutional Trust Funds Office (SITFO), an independent state agency that invests an endowment (currently $3.3 Billion) generated by over four million acres of land for the benefit of public education in Utah.  Zucker serves on the Board of Directors of a number of private corporations, including Experiential Events Group, LLC, a leading marketing services company based outside of Charlotte, NC where he serves as Chairman; Great Lakes Restoration Group, one of the largest franchisee groups in the SERVPRO system providing remediation and restoration services headquartered in Saginaw, MI;  Prime First Health LLC, a healthcare services company headquartered in Lake Worth, FL, where he serves as Chairman;  and Built Worlds LLC, a business media company serving the construction, architecture and engineering sectors based in Chicago, IL.  Zucker is a named inventor on twelve issued U.S. patents.
